We are located on the picturesque west coast of North Uist 16 miles from the ferry terminal at Lochmaddy, 17 miles from ferry terminal at Berneray and 17 miles from Benbecula Airport.

Below is some more information on how to get to North Uist, and how to find us when you are here.

By Road
We are three miles (4.8 km) north of Bayhead. Turn for Hougharry off the A865.

By Sea
There are daily ferry sailings from Uig in Skye to Lochmaddy; and Leverburgh in Harris to Berneray. Alternatively there are sailings from Mallaig to Lochboisdale and Oban to Castlebay, Isle of Barra. Booking in advance is adviseable..

By Air
There are daily flights from Glasgow and Stornoway to Balivanich Airport. For information and on-line reservations for flights between the Outer Hebrides and the mainland, please visit Flyebe. (http://www.flybe.com)

Buses
There are bus services on Mondays to Saturdays linking to/from Berneray for ferry connections to Harris, and with Lochmaddy and Benbecula. Service W18 serves the west side of North Uist and stops at the Balranald RSPB Nature Reserve. For timetables visit the Council website
